Kimberly Johnson

A Las Vegas native, Kimberly began playing viola at the age of 10. Throughout middle and high school, she was part of various ensembles that included Honor Orchestra, Las Vegas Youth Orchestra, All-State Orchestra, and the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra. In college, she continued studying violin and viola with instructors Teresa Ling, Byron Tauchi, and Andrew Duckles.  Kimberly was even a member of the UNLV Symphony Orchestra during the time Maestro Hal Weller was conductor.

Kimberly now performs with the Henderson Symphony Orchestra, the Southern Nevada Symphony Orchestra and the Nevada Chamber Orchestra where she currently holds a principal position.  Since 2002, she has taught many students from private lessons to coaching sectionals for LVYO.
